Japan prioritizes extending the healthy life expectancy of its citizens as one major aspect of the Japan Revitalization Strategy approved at a Cabinet meeting in June 2013.
As business projects to promote and improve the health of enrollees based on an analysis of medical and health data, all health insurance societies are pursuing the creation and publication of data health plans.

Health insurance societies publish data health plans on their websites, in bulletins, and in other informational sources to raise awareness with everyone involved. These awareness-building efforts strive to gain the understanding of enrollees, employers and all other relevant parties about the purpose and content of health insurance businesses in order to enhance the effectiveness of these businesses.
